Chad's core values are his health, freedom, adventure, creativity, and family supporting his vision of assisting people to find their Ho'olaule'a, Hawaiian Celebration. He attempts to do this through discovery of Health, Attitude, Adventure, Lifestyle, and Living. Chad’s life moto is “Ride the Ride, Live the Legend” and his guiding principle “Wanna Go” is derived from the Bible verse, Isaiah 6:8.   


Chad’s education includes a Doctorate of Management from Wayland Baptist University School of Business, a postgraduate certificate in Marketing from Harvard Business School; a Master's in Management from Troy University School of Business; and a Bachelors in Building Science from Auburn University School of Architecture. Chad is a student and advocate of Servant Leadership Theory, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Professional, Academy for Health Care Management (PAHM), and a certified practitioner and counselor of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).


His practical experience includes 25 years of service in the Army as an Airborne, Air Assault, RANGER, Engineer Officer; 13 years of Health and Business Management experience from Pfizer INC; five years creating and managing the corporation Ho’olaule’a LLC; and multiple certifications including Project Manager Professional (PMP), Myers Briggs Testing Instrument (MBTI) Certified Practitioner, Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) Scuba Instructor, and Professional, Academy of Healthcare Management (PAHM). This has given Chad unique skill set in Global and Theater Operations to include Strategic Planning, Systems Integration, Problem Set Solutions, Cross-functional Team Leadership, Process Improvement, and International Relations. In addition, Chad’s leadership experience includes Project Management, Change Management, Operations Management, Healthcare Management, and Leadership Consultation.  Most recently Chad published his thesis on Resistance to Change in the Hawaii County Home Building Industry RESISTANCE TO CHANGE IN THE HOMEBUILDING INDUSTRY OF HAWAII COUNTY and served as a management consultant for the Mayor and Directors of Hawaii County. Chad is the Chief Operations Officer for Ho'olaule'a LLC; Management Consultant for subsidiary HC PMP LLC,  head Inn Keeper and assistant stable groom, landscape manager, dog handler, tortoise feeder, and duck wrangler for Hale Laule'a; and your personal Tour Guide to assist you in finding your Ho'olaule'a, Hawaiian Celebration as part of HC Experiences LLC.

Dr. Jennifer J. Walker, FMP, MPH

Jennifer is the Chief Executive Officer for Ho'olaule'a LLC; Management Consultant for subsidiary HC Health LLC,  head stable groom, landscape manager, dog handler, tortoise feeder, and duck wrangler for Hale Laule'a; and assist inn keeper for Hale Laule'a.

          

Dr. Jennifer J. Walker earned her MD degree and completed a family medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed a fellowship in Faculty Development and earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Washington. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Walker  retired as a Colonel in the US Army. Her military career allowed her to serve in a variety of practice environments, from family clinics to community hospitals to world-class tertiary care centers at military bases in the US and Europe. Dr. Walker fell in love with Hawaii while serving as the Chief of the Medical Staff for the large outpatient healthcare facility at Schofield Barracks on Oahu, followed by Chief of Clinical Operations at US Pacific Command at Fort Shafter.  Dr. Walker's final assignment had her serving as the Director of Graduate Medical Education at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC, the Military's largest teach hospital. Upon retirement from the military, Dr. Walker  serves as the Medical Director for the East Hawaii Health Clinics on Hawaii Island, a network of rural health clinics under the East Hawaii Region of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation. 


Dr. Walker served in demanding leadership positions at military medical facilities while deployed to the Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and her military awards include the Bronze Star Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Walker has been inducted into the Order of Military Medical Merit and has received the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians President’s Award. Dr. Walker has lectured extensively on medical and military topics at regional, national, and international military and civilian conferences. She has conducted and published original medical research, has authored or co-authored numerable scientific journal articles and book chapters, and has served as chair of several professional development and continuing education seminars.  More information on Dr. Walker is as follows:
